Andre Coelho Matos “Time to be free” no es un disco solista, sino es el álbum de una banda, como sea, en esta nueva aventura musical del excelso vocalista lo acompañan Luis Mariutti en el bajo, Hugo Mariutti en la guitarra, Fabio Ribeiro (antiguo ex tecladista de Angra en vivo), y dos nuevas incorporaciones que tocaron con Matos al inicio de su carrera ellos son André Hernandes en la guitarra y Rafael Rosa en la batería. Todos estos músicos fueron guiados en su trabajo por 2 productores de primer nivel: el habitual Sascha Paeth (Heavens Gate, Virgo, Shaman) y el gurú Roy Z (Bruce Dickinson, Halford, Helloween, Judas Priest). Todos ellos junto a la hermosa vocalista Amanda Somerville que metió algunas voces femeninas en la placa, le dieron vida a este extenso y generoso “Time to be free”, titulo que cae de cajón como una declaración de principios y donde cabe este cuestionamiento: ¿acaso Matos no se sentía “libre”
Musicalmente la placa es todo lo que se podría esperar de un genio como Matos, con su habitual power metal pomposo lleno de arreglos y orquestaciones grandilocuentes.
