Quien sepa de Guns n'Roses sabe de Hollywood Rose. Si gustas de Guns este disco es infaltable. EL primer tema que abre este "The roots of Guns and Roses" es "Anythings goes" similar a del genial Apetito que hará que no extrañes para nada a Slash y Cia. la estructura musical esta dada, los coros, la energía. En el Apetito sólo sacaron mayor lustre al tema pues la genialidad ya esta hecha."Killing time" muy a lo Reckless life una canción bien realizada. "Rocker" para que saques tu rockero interno, tu rabia, tu alegría al cantar. "Shadow of your love" que puedo decir, aun no sale de mi cabeza el corito (eso es bueno?). En fin todos los temas de Hollywood Rose son pura energía, contestación pura al mundo, rápidos directos.Los temas de L.A.Guns en este disco son canciones mas Hard Rock muy diferentes a lo que que sonaba cuando estaban los primeros integrantes pero que no dejan de ser buenos."The ballad of Jane" tema que le valió a L.A Guns ya sin los gunners entrar con fuerza a las radios de entonces. En conclusión un buen compilado un disco para recordar. Aunque hay que tener en cuenta que hay muchos discos de compilacion de esos años circulando en la red este es muy bueno para todo Gunner.

Tarkus estubo integrado por los peruanos Alex Nathanson en guitarra y voz y Walo Carillo en batería, ambos provenientes de Telegraph Avenue, una de las bandas más exitosas de la escena peruana de los 70´s.Finalmente se incorpora el guitarrista argentino Dario Gianella, quien junto a Van Locke serían los compositores dando forma definitiva a la agrupación.Rock duro de guitarras distorsionadas con abundancia de riffs y solos además de una voz propia del rock metálico a veces exageradamente impostada, son los elementos preponderantes del álbum, solo en algunos breves pasajes recurren a una mayor elaboración, instrumentaciones acústicas o a la fusión jazzera. La banda solo edita este LP, con una tirada muy reducida y hace algunas presentaciones antes de separarse.Su álbum autotitulado fue grabado en 8 canales, en tan solo cinco semanas y con únicamente temas propios, realizando "El primer disco de rock pesado de todo Sudamérica". Todo un disco para coleccionistas.

Axxis - Paradise In Flames (2006)

Paradise in Flames es un disco ligero algo diferente a lo que Axxis suele hacer pero pega y se desliza con fuerza al escuchar.Es un buen disco con grandes temas recomendado.Empiezan con su “Dance with the Dead” mostrandonos como juegan con el power a la alemana y la colaboración de Lakonia le da más melodía a la canción con esa dulce voz. Destacable también son “Ice Wind","Stay by me",Talisman” o “Lady Moon” con unos coros enormes, arreglos orquestales, solos que enganchan y una sensación de alegría en los temas (tal vez suene demasiado “happy”) y terminan con un corte que, como su propio nombre indica, es puro desenfado y rocanrol “Passion of Rock”.
Un disco con muchos arreglos, repleto de coros, buenas canciones y producción a la altura, donde la voz de Weiss vuelve a ser el plato fuerte y que de seguro gustará a los seguidores de la banda. Si nos los conoces este es un buen momento para hacerlo.
